It is important to us that the service created for you and your loved one is personal and meaningful. The service validates the emotions you are feeling; it acknowledges the life lived, reminding those around you that your loved one is important and should be remembered; and most importantly, it is one of the first steps of the grieving process on the journey towards healing.

Our staff is trained to help you design a service to your specifications; one which can range from a simple ceremony to a more elaborate or traditional occasion. 

Funeral services are very personal and they should be tailored to your and your loved one’s wishes.  Arrangements may include:

• one or two days visitation prior to the service, or on the same day of the service;
• a chapel or church service;
• a service held at a visitation centre, a favourite golf club, a theatre - the possibilities are almost endless as long as permission can be obtained;
• a graveside service;
• a catered reception following the service.

The Simple Alternative can also arrange the witnessing of a cremation if this is something you desire.
