What Our Customers Have to Say

Dear Maria and Lucie, I wanted to thank both of you lovely ladies for all your assistance with arranging and conducting my Dad’s Memorial on June 27. Maria, you were so professional and helpful over the last year. I had so many questions and you were always very polite and provided prompt detailed replies, every time. Thank you for holding my hand so to speak through the many months of preparation. Your time and efforts were greatly appreciated by my whole family. Lucie, thank you very much for all your help the day of the memorial. Your kind/professional mannerism was wonderful. You knew just when to stand back or help us out. A huge thanks to both of you. You are so good at what you do!

Dear Kurl, I am enclosing two signed copies of the amended Allocation Form to be registered with Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Without your knowledge and  understanding, which you so generously shared, I don’t think we could have put this allocation plan together. I my many years of business dealings, I have not encountered anyone who has been more capable or more helpful. Thank you again for all your help.

Dear Mr. McClary, In these days of rushing I feel it is important to take the time to recognize those who excel. Our family has been involved with Mt. Pleasant Cemetery for over 70 years. This year my Mother passed away and in March the re-connection to Mt. Pleasant once again was renewed. I had the pleasure of working with Lucie Morra a Service Co-ordinator at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Lucie was detailed, dignified and patient over an extended 6 month process acquiring a grave stone. It was a difficult task for me to pass my mother’s ashes on to Lucie for final burial. I was touched by Lucie going beyond the call of her specific duty to take the time to phone me later that day for reassurance. Lucie is indeed a tremendous compliment to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

I cannot say enough about the work of Heather Weir in resolving my concerns. She has handled step by step every concern with care, competence and grace. It is not easy to deal with a descendant of the original purchaser for whom the 100-year-old lot has been divided between two of the fourth generation descendants. I believe through Heather Weir’s hard work and imagination that my family will find all the papers in place for my own burial and any others for whom they have allocation rights. You may say that I should REST IN PEACE.

On behalf of my brother … and myself, I would like to express our deep appreciation for the care, efficiency and compassion shown to both of us regarding the burial of our mother … on Saturday …. Both my brother and I were so impressed with Erin Johnson who looked after us and walked us through the process. Our special thanks to Mr. Fred Moore, who power washed the head stone on the family plot. My brother and I could not believe how clean and new the stone looked. This is going above and beyond the call of duty, and to see this, was not only a pleasant surprise, but actually choked me up. Again, all of our thanks to everyone behind the scenes who did such a magnificent job.
