An immersive, multi-sensory installation at Toronto Necropolis

As part of this year’s Cabbagetown Festival, and presented during Mount Pleasant Group’s 200th anniversary year, we invite you to experience a unique installation inside our historic Toronto Necropolis Chapel.

Created by Toronto-based artists Space for Grief, this immersive, multi-sensory experience offers visitors a place to pause and reflect on memory, connection and the stories that shape our communities.

The Toronto Necropolis Cemetery has been part of the Cabbagetown community since 1850. Known for its monuments, stately trees and striking Victorian Gothic structures, it remains a place where Toronto’s stories can be discovered and remembered.

Whether you are visiting the festival, exploring the neighbourhood or discovering Toronto Necropolis for the first time, you are invited to step inside, take a moment and experience the installation at your own pace.

Admission is free and everyone is welcome!

Address: 200 Winchester Street, Toronto, ON, M4X 1B7

Weather information: While the installation is largely indoors, this event is set to take place rain or shine and is subject to cancellation in the case of extreme weather conditions.
