Prospect Cemetery
A group of ten young men, all under the age of 21, canoed on a picnic excursion over to the Toronto Islands, departing from the mouth of Humber River. Returning to the mainland later that same evening, they were caught in a fierce storm. After entering Humber bay, every canoe capsized, and all the young men drowned, on July 26, 1907. Six were buried in Prospect Cemetery, including Frank Daley and his brother Glen.
