Music at Mount Pleasant returns for its 17th season in 2026, marking a special year as Mount Pleasant Group (MPG) celebrates its 200th anniversary.
Since 2009, Music at Mount Pleasant has been a free, family‑friendly summer concert series, showcasing outstanding musical talent from across the Greater Toronto Area, including artists affiliated with the Royal Conservatory of Music. In 2026, we are proud to continue this longstanding tradition while recognizing two centuries of service, remembrance, and community connection.

“Way Bach When”
This concert is dedicated to the late Jeanne Lamon, featuring her string trio arrangement of Bach’s famous ‘Ciaconna’, and showcasing movements from the intimate Suites and Sonatas. Heart & Guts Baroque Ensemble comprises four long-time friends and musical collaborators who celebrate their shared love for heartfelt musicmaking on period instruments.
