There’s a whole world of activity inside a beehive. Join us to see it up close!

Join us on Wednesday, August 12 at Mount Pleasant Group’s Duffin Meadows Cemetery for Meet the Hive, an introductory honey bee workshop led by local beekeeper and educator Dan MacGregor, “The Beekeeper Dan.”

Learn how a hive functions, discover the important role bees play in supporting local biodiversity, and, conditions permitting, experience a live hive up close. Participants may even have the opportunity to hold a frame of bees under Dan’s guidance.

Space limited to 30 participants
Light refreshments will be provided

Please note: Participants will be required to sign a waiver before taking part in hive-related activities.
