Ground burial is a traditional and lasting way to lay cremated remains to rest. Our cemeteries offer specially sized cremation graves or lots that can hold up to two urns. Alternatively, ashes can be buried in a full-size grave alongside a casket.

Depending on the type of lot selected, families may choose a granite or bronze marker placed flush with the ground, or an upright memorial to create a more prominent tribute.

Entombment offers a beautiful, above-ground option for cremated remains. The urn is placed in a niche, which may be located indoors or outdoors:

• Outdoor niches feature granite or bronze fronts, allowing for elegant and lasting memorialization.
• Indoor niches often have glass fronts, keeping the urn visible and allowing for personal touches like inscriptions or small keepsakes.

Niches, including family niches, can accommodate one or more urns, and offer a peaceful, permanent space for remembrance.

For those who prefer a more natural return to the earth, scattering cremated remains can be a deeply meaningful choice. While cremated remains don’t float away like in the movies, they can be gently poured in serene settings such as:

• Cemetery rose gardens
• Forests or ravines
• At sea or on private property (with permission)
