William Mathers

Born in 1805, William Mathers was a businessman (Mathers and Brown, became Christie, Brown); and a City Councillor for St. Patrick’s Ward from 1839 to 1841. He was married to Agnes Rutherford (b. November 20, 1810; d. April 21, 1878). Mathers died September 19, 1863.
